What are we here for

The future of our local area of the Milky Way is governed by forces that we can barely even comprehend today. Despite breathtaking advances in science and extensive settlement of planets in Orion's Arm, a devastating event in our future kills over 99% of the intersteller population and completely transforms humanity. The survivors and their descendants chart a new course in the wake of this great Plague... creating societies which are an eclectic mix of what we would call the impossible future and the irrecoverable past. They are us, or at least, what we may become, given our past and our future.

Chronicles of Arnica

Chronicles of Arnica is a collection of the histories of our future. Orion Prophecies is a compendium of articles, media and background material for the characters, settings and events which are recounted in the Chronicles of Arnica, including the chronicles of the Empires of Orion.
